Meet our Wonderful Team of Experienced Therapists


Sharon started her private practice in 2003, after returning from working overseas for 8 years as a speech and language therapist. Sharon worked in community health, hospitals and education settings in NSW before heading to the UK to combine her two passions; traveling and speech pathology. Sharon worked in England, Scotland, Wales and The Channel Islands in a variety of positions from community Health Centres to Special Education settings (mild intellectual impairment, moderate to severe intellectual impairment, general global/developmental delay, ASD, Speech and Language impairment).  Sharon has also creates and sells digital speech therapy resources on line, as ‘The Speechie from Oz’. Sharon has two children and with a busy work-life schedule understands the juggling needed within busy family lives.



Thea graduated with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology from the University of Queensland in 2009 and has been working at Time to Talk since the beginning of 2010. Thea has many years of experience working with children. She has a gentle yet engaging approach and easily relates to all children. Thea believe therapy sessions should be so much fun that children don’t realise they are “working” and learning. Thea particularly enjoys helping children with their speech sounds. She also has a special interest in literacy and is passionate about helping all children reach their reading and spelling potential. Away from work, Thea enjoys spending time with her friends’ young children and taking photos at Motocross races around Queensland.



Joanne is a certified practising speech pathologist graduated from the University of Queensland in 2014. Upon graduation, Joanne spent most of her experience in working together with parents and their children diagnosed with special needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. Joanne also has experience working with children who require early speech and language delays, stuttering and feeding difficulties, and also had the opportunity to run several social skills group intervention. Joanne is also trained in Picture Exchange Communication (PECS), Key Word Sign (KWS) and Hanen Teacher Talk Series. Joanne is currently involved in research on children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is also fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese.



Jessica is a graduate from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology. Since graduating, she has worked in a special needs school, as well as provided school support services to various schools around Queensland before working in private practice. She has worked with children with special needs such as Autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ID (Intellectual Disability). Jessica enjoys working closely with clients and their families in planning goals and providing intervention strategies to help achieve their potential.  She aims to make her sessions fun and enjoyable for clients so they look forward to coming to therapy.
